French and Spanish HNS website and editable reporting forms now available

Thomas Liebert

Dear Correspondence Group Members,

I am pleased to announce that the website on HNS matters, maintained by the IOPC Funds’ Secretariat, is now available in French and Spanish.  Please see

I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that the Forms under the HNS Reporting section of the website had for some time not been made available in the correct editable format.  These have now been replaced, in the three languages, allowing users to complete their forms digitally.  Anyone who may have already downloaded the forms in its previous format, should now replace them.

With very best regards

Thomas Liebert

Congratulations with the HNS Protocol Blog!

JDBDear Correspondence Group Members,

At the informal meeting last October we agreed to re-launch the informal correspondence group to allow a continued exchange among those working on the implementation of the HNS Convention and the possibility was discussed to create a page on the HNS Convention’s website where messages, documents and web links can be more easily shared.

We welcome your contributions!

TL_smallDear correspondence group members,

One of the decision taken during our first meeting in October 2013 was to set up a forum to exchange views and information on progress made towards the ratification and implementation of the 2010 HNS Protocol.

This blog has been established for that purpose and we hope that you will make the best use of it. We look forward to seeing your contributions soon.

Informal Correspondence Group on the HNS Convention

FM_smallDear Colleagues,

I would first like to thank those of you who participated in the informal meeting on the 2010 HNS Convention held on October 24, 2013 during the recent meetings of the IOPC Funds. It is evident that taking advantage of these opportunities is to our benefit.

At the meeting, we agreed to re-launch the informal correspondence group to allow a continued exchange of ideas among those working on the implementation of the HNS Convention. As a way to launch this correspondence group and to ensure that the right people are included in the distribution list, I ask that you please pass this email to your colleagues and provide me with their email address so that I can include them.
